Description

The Große Krampe is a long bay of the Dahme and is surrounded by large forest areas. No wonder, then, that a campground has been built in the midst of this beautiful nature. The campground "Kuhle Wampe" has a small **bathing place** with some sand and sunbathing lawns. Ideal for a short vacation outside the big city. The bathing place is mainly used by residents of the campground. It is protected from boat traffic and there is a ban on dogs along the bathing area. Catering is provided by the club restaurant "Zur Kuhlen Wampe" on the site. Toilets are also available.

Approach to the bathing place

The approach to the bathing place is a special highlight! Since the forest road to the campsite is closed to car traffic in summer, you can only get there by ferry! Via the ferry terminal Krampenburg (line F21) you get directly to the campsite. The ferry starts in Schmöckwitz and crosses the Dahme directly to Krampenburg. After about 15 minutes driving time you are at your destination.

Restaurant zur Kuhlen Wampe at the Große Krampe

The restaurant "Zur Kuhlen Wampe" is located directly on the campground. There you can get a good meal for a long day of swimming. Every Saturday and Sunday the restaurant offers breakfast.

Water quality

The water quality of the Große Krampe is excellent at the campsite according to EU classification and approved by the LAGeSo with the rating "suitable for swimming" (sample from September 2016).
