Seddinsee

Get out of Berlin and swim in nature! Seddinsee is located in the southeast of Berlin and is a part of the river Dahme. On the north bank is the small but nice bathing place Seddinsee. The bathing place is somewhat secluded in the middle of the forest area. This makes it perfect for nature lovers. The best way to reach the lake is by car or bicycle. Thanks to the Komahafen boat landing, the bathing area is also perfect for a stopover during a boat tour.

Bathing place Seddinsee

Officially, the entire Seddinsee is considered bathing water and is open for swimming and bathing. Therefore, there is no special place designated as a bathing spot. However, the Seddinsee bathing area with its small boat mooring has established itself as a place to go, as it is particularly easy to reach from the water. The area offers a larger sunbathing lawn and earthy access to the water. This makes the bathing area particularly suitable for friends of bathing in nature without an artificial sandy beach.

There is also no lido directly at the Seddinsee. Those who prefer a sandy beach and value catering and toilets nearby are better off at the Schmöckwitz lido, for example.

Boat mooring at Seddinsee

Directly at the bathing area Seddinsee there is a small boat mooring, the so-called Komahafen. This is mainly suitable for a stopover by boat or to anchor with your own houseboat in the middle of the wishful mixed forests.

However, you will not find a marina, boat rental or canoe rental in the vicinity of the bathing area. Those who are looking for them will find suitable places in Schmöckwitz.
